[/FONT] [FONT=Arial,sans-serif]A team of about 30 armed Karuna cadres stormed the printing press located at No.39, Govinda Road in Batticaloa last evening and took control of it forcing the Pillayan supporters to flee from the building. However, about 100 armed cadres of Pilleyan later were stationed in surrounding areas.

However, when Karuna Amman fled Sri Lanka on a false passport to the UK, arrested and was detained there Pilleyan group took over the press and had been running it until yesterday when Karuna Amman's armed cadres stormed the press.
