Kotmale Dam

Hi guys, I recently visited Kandy with my friends and my wife. On our trip, we visited Kotmale Dam. The view from the dam is simply beautiful. Kotmale reservoir and the mountain range create eye catching sight. Couldn't take much photos due to the rain. These are what I could capture.

It became an 'Accelerated Mahaweli project'. So the people worked there in 12-hour shifts on alternate weeks to complete it quickly. Otherwise it was to take decades for completion.
