Life Slowly Leaves Me
Lying here
Cold and naked
In the bath tub
That slowly fills
With cold water
Thinking and reflecting
On my life I've lived
Over these fifteen years
It seems to me
That all i remember
Is heartache
And sorrow
The happier times
Have faded
Into the back
Of my memory
Locked away
In a volt
I've lost the key to
The water rises
Mixed with tears
And warm blood
It covers my face
And now i wait
As it begins
To fill my lungs
And my life slowly leaves me
Lying here
Cold and naked
In the bath tub
That slowly fills
With cold water
Thinking and reflecting
On my life I've lived
Over these fifteen years
It seems to me
That all i remember
Is heartache
And sorrow
The happier times
Have faded
Into the back
Of my memory
Locked away
In a volt
I've lost the key to
The water rises
Mixed with tears
And warm blood
It covers my face
And now i wait
As it begins
To fill my lungs
And my life slowly leaves me
