You are wrong. xfce use GTK+ toolkit still heavy and consume a considerable amount of resources. I do use LXQT based on QT much lighter, smooth and minimalist.

I'm with this. Much faster to get things done with the terminal. Sometimes I don't even know how to do some stuff with the GUI. lol

Nope. That is a waste of money. I would highly recommend against this stupid certificate mania of arshikland.
Just starting out with basic things is good enough.
