Hi Guys

I was reading elakiri posts since 2011 and today only I have got registered. I like this website and I have seen most of the members put threads about some of there problems and get an opinion from others. Personally I feel its worthwhile to get opinion from people who are more the less same to eachother.

So Guys I need an advise

I am a 25 years old from small age I had to face financial problems due to my father faced a huge loss in his business (Garments). Due to that I had to sacrifice my university entrance which was my child hood dream.

I started working when I was at 18 and did all sought of things where I can earn money without a prestige issue. seriously some months I have made 100k.

Then I started doing CIMA and joined a private firm As a Accounts Executive. I am still on the same firm and getting 50k for a month. Now this job is a mess for me. fully stressed out from 8 am to 8 pm. I still couldn't finish CIMA have to do 2 more stage. Now i am in that curse for 4 Years. (Now i started hating my work and CIMA I fell I am on wrong path)

During the last 7 years I renovated my house, Got Married. for both those things I have taken loans (Personal). Which was manageable with my salary during that time.

Last Year suddenly my father got sicked and hospitalized few times during the year and half and I had to spent a lot. Now I dont have any savings or Investments. and I have ended up with a loan of million. And I am sure this time also I am going to fail on Cima exams.

Now I dont know what to do I am facing lot of difficulties. Its like I am back to the same old stage where I started.

To get out of it I am thinking to do something but I cant do it as I have got an educated fellow tag from relatives. and I am tired of hearing those words "Are you mad you have a good job why do you want to do business" "its Risky".

If I want to do I can start my fathers business back again and I am confident I can succeed on that. for that for the time being I have to leave my job. I have to stop Cima for awhile.

Guys You will understand my situ Please advise me. I will value each of your advise. it might change my mindset.

Imagine going home Your wife says need to buy a Anchor pkt tomorrow and you have Rs.800 only in your pocket. Salary is after another 3 Days.

as long as your prestige isn't sacrificed do what you want to do in order to get out from the mess you are currently in. if you are so sure about what you are going to do don't let anyone to drag from your legs beside you don't have many options and you can do your CIMA exam later on like after you are settled down properly and other thing is you can also start selling items in ebay and earn some cash it's a very profitable part time job and you can easily earn up to 1000 US$ without working so hard within a couple of months. so good luck for your future. :)

if you are confident enough then go ahead friend. at the moment i think you should apply for a new job with a higher salary. you can do it by using your working experience. if you resume the old business you do it for the sake of cover the loan and the medical expenses not in the pure business perspective of reinvestment and value addition.that might ultimately lead to a business failure.

yeah but it can be a bit tough at the beginning because it needs a little bit of trust from the clients unless they might not risk their money for someone they have no idea about. first sell some cheap stuff and earn a good reputation in ebay and maintain a clean profile make sure to mention your fb profile somewhere to gain more trust from clients so they know for sure you are a legit person.

N so for due to family pressure n somehow manages to start my own business while wrkng . same problem here Thy dnt like me becoming a full time businessman coz in society there r things call respect n status they think tht business ppl r uneducated n corrupt ppl n they think that tag of accountant, finance analysis n cfo z more respectable n show more status. Even wht u wear to go to office matters fr them:P bt i hv made my mind to give up this job in 1 yrs time n go all out for business . Mach if u want to retire young n retire rich u needs to be a businessman .take that leap mach evry great thing z just out f ur comfort zone:) i hv lian closer to 3 times as my age.
