machanz,Increasing your intake of junk food(koththu,buns,sweets) and greasy foods is not a good way to gain weight. Junk foods usually contain unhealthy fat. Even though you need to increase your calorie consumption to gain weight, those calories should come from foods that are good for you.
and machan It is better to eat five or six smaller meals per day rather than eating three large meals,

as far as i have learned these are the best food to gain weight..
MILK
CHICKEN(chicken breast is one of the best protein sources)
BEEF
FRUITS(fruits contain vitamins which enhances growth)
EGG
FISH(tuna.fillet,and small fish)

and dont forget to workout....
when u work out it helps the body to enhance the hormaon activity which actualy controlls the growth of the body..

jst think abt this .......
i got to knw these after doing many sports and being under very best coaches and sportsmen of the country....thrs a lot to learn from them that will make ur physic better..
