The Collectors are an ancient race in space. They do not know that Commander Shepard has been found and rebuilt by a man called Illusive Man, a dark, chain smoking leader who needs Commander Shepard to catch the Collectors and finish them off for the good of mankind.
Mass Effect 2 is designed and manufactured by BioWare Corp in Edmonton, Massachusetts. Like the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 is a role playing game. The game is full of action and the characters are developed with distinct personalities.
BioWare is already planning Mass Effect 3.
