    I own a 2016 Mazda 3. Bought last week from agents. So far so good :cool: long distance 16k karanawa city eka thama sure na. City eke manual mode dala paddoth wadi kara ganna puluwan wei :yes:

    Whats your MConnect firmware version? For long dostance I reached 17-18km/l without an issue on auto/m trans. On freeways with cruise (120km/h) 13km/h and without cruise it can be gone to 18km/h. for city on heavy trafic its 9, otherwise 10-12. It depends on how you squeeze gas and paddle the acceleration. Mode M doesn't always helping fuel saving though it uses for populate a greater pickup in most of the time you need.

    Settings->System->About->Version Information

    Here you can see all the infos including OS version etc... also can easily ssh to this OS and play with few tweaks. its purely an Unix kernel after all. ;)

    literally yes. But risk depends on the firmware ban. ape lankavata gena models vala baseband eka awilla CMU 140. US\Europe models vala 150. So finding the correct firmware is a hard factor. That's why I asked you the firmware version. If its 55 or up, you may already uptodate as your car dispatched in early 2016. most interesting fact machan, we can port android auto successfully to this latest firmware. :cool: :cool:

    below stuffs I already checked and works. problem is machan I dont get much free time to do more r&ds and of course I don't want to see my CMU bricked as well (cz CM or Carmart doesn't even know whats the CMU is, basically speaking.) So I don't want to be abandoned :growl:

    • activate\deactivate touchscreen while driving
    • adjusting lag time of welcome screen/warning nag
    • add\remove\customize safety warning in reverse camera
    • changing wallpaper (but I prefered the factory version though)
    • remove blank album art for FM and Music player

    Dude, mazdas are pretty good cars, reliable and economical they dont make any sport cars other than the mps models which is friking awesome but I don't think you have it in SriLanka I live in Australia so I don't know whats what in SriLanka.

    Most of the mazdas are known for leaks in power steering high pressure lines (even with 65000ks) but that should be cheap to fix compared to shit you get with any german car with less ks. Hands on I'd recommend a mazda.
