Method to download multiple songs at once from Miyuru Gee (www.Infolanka.com)
Hay, does anyone know what the hell happened to my previous thread?? It just vanished into thin air!

This is a method I’ve been using for about 5 years now and I have downloaded about 10000 songs from infolanka from time to time. Many Sri Lankans know how to download ONE SONG AT A TIME from this site but this is a waste of time.
This is a pretty complex method so resort to this only if you really want to.
Ex- how to download all the songs of Nanda Malani….
1.We need the URL of Nanda Malani’s page. Go to the list of Artists and find her name. Right-click on her name and copy the link to the clipboard. (http://www.infolanka.com/miyuru_gee/art/nanda.html)
2.Go to http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/link-extractor.shtml and paste the link there and press “Extract”. This website will provide us with a list of web links inside the Web Page we need. Select only the links ending with extension “.ram”. (these are real-audio streaming files)
3.Paste all in a text file and save it as “links1.txt”
4.To download all these, you need a download manager. I’m using ‘Internet Download Manager’. Install it on your computer. Torrent link – http://www.mininova.org/tor/2938106
5.Open IDM, goto “Tasks” and select “Import” and select “From text file” – select “links1.txt” that you saved.
6.It will take only seconds to complete the task since all these files are like 1kb in size. (Each one of these .ram file will contain a link to a “Real Audio file” with an extension “.ra”. These files are the original files stored in Infolanka Database)
7.Next, put all the files you’ve downloaded in a single folder and open that folder via “DOS Command Prompt”. (Alternatively, find the default folder of Command Prompt, and put them all in it. Select Command Prompt from ‘Start Menu – Accessories’. If you’re using WinXP and logged in as Administrator, the command prompt will display C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> You can move all the .ram files to this folder using windows explorer).
8.Enter this MS DOS command in the CMD prompt – copy<space>*.ram<space>links2.txt
9.(This command will open all the .ram files, put them together and create a single text file named “links2.txt”) The Command Prompt will say “1 file(s) copied”. You can see the “links2.txt” file in the folder.
10.This “links2.txt” has all the links we need. Follow the step 5 and import “links2.txt” to IDM.
11.That’s it. IDM will download all the songs of Nanda Malani to the folder you specify.
Important –
1.When a list of files is given to the new versions of IDM, it won’t start downloading automatically. Press the “Start Main Download Queue” button on the toolsbar.
2.The DOS command I mentioned will combine ALL the .ram files in a specific folder into a single text file. Therefore if you are repeating these steps, remember to delete the previous set of .ram files.
3.This method works only because the Audio Streaming files in infolanka are not encrypted (in Unicode form). In other similar sites, they are encrypted and this method won’t work.
Some other tips –
·If you want to get the maximum quality out of these, install Real Player and DFX plugin for Real Audio.
·If you want to convert them to MP3, do not use programmes like Streambox ripper. It’s better to crack the Real Player into a Premium version and use the converter provided.
·All these files have Tag details included (Artist’s name and title). Use this for renaming them. Here is a programme for this purpose.

Use it to rename the .ra files as you link. Ex- “Artist’s name – Song Title” or “Song Title - Artist’s name”.
·If you have a broadband connection, you can drain the whole Miyuru Gee site into your hard drive in days.
