Memory prices are extremely cheap on eBay. I always buy there. Maybe not all cards are genuine, but so far nothing broke on me and for the price you can’t really complain.

I don’t have any preferred sellers as such. Normally I go for power sellers with thousands of sales and a feedback of 99+. I also try to see if I can find any buyer feedback left on the seller for the same item I plan to buy.

I see portable external DVD writers on eBay for around $50. Did you check prices in SL ? Sometimes buying locally could turn out to be better (cos of the warranty)
