Let me get this straight from the little I understood of your post,

- Prophet's uncle loved him dearly, and was a fatherly figure to him
- He didn't say kalima (wth?)
- And he didn't die a muslim
- He went straight to hell for not dying a muslim, although he was nice to the prophet, and was a good man

Correct me if I am wrong, but if I got that right an innocent man went to hell because he chose to disbelieve? Kinda harsh of Allah don't you think?
