Mr Sri Lion

I am awaiting you reply THEN WHY DO PEOPLE BECOME MONKS????

How are we to know? I've never had the urge to become a monk, I doubt if sri lion has either. So we wouldn't know what factors motivate to become one. I'm inclined to think it's personal, meaning it differs from one person to the next. Why not visit the nearest temple and ask a monk? Oh I forgot your from Saudi, where they don't have any. Too bad, you'll have to wait till your next visit to sri lanka

Regardless of the various positions and opinions, there is no permission establish through the teachings of the Quran or the Sunnah (way) of Muhammad, peace be upon him, wherein one person could "beat" another person.

And Allah is All Knowing of the meanings.

this is what I've been saying all along. Dont blame a religion because what people do. Maybe they have misunderstood what's being said.

Good. Then Why should people become monks or priests????

Woah! dude patience a bit.. I'm on a full time job here.. I dont get money replying on a forum!

Why should people become monks or priests?

Simple! Becoming monks would make your journey to Nirvana much faster, since they solely concentrate on it, and also you are concentrated on Dhamma so you have more knowledge of it which you can distribute to others!

    Sis Nadeesha

My Buddist Friend Mr.Sri Lion Agreed with me that trees feel pain .Please check Post Number 550.

I think he may be able to explain it better to you than me.

  Trees feel pain? when did I say that.. I said trees have life doesn't mean that they feel pain! Now dont make false statements!

Anyone can go and check the reply number 550! be my guest!

Infact the only thing trees have in common with is growth... YES here's my question for you can you prove trees actually have pain?

    Lets take it from there!!

    My second question

Does Islam talks about the rights of trees?

You are changing theories as you go...

In the beginning nobody said anything like this..

in fact FUNKOLUWA asked me what would I do other than hit her if my wife doesn't obey me..

Now all of a sudden you say islam says nothing about hitting women?

Whom do yo want us to believe..because at the time FUNKOLUWA made that comment everybody seemed to agree with him:confused:

    Hello Mr.Sri Lion

My appologies for the error.I wanted to stress the point that Trees have life.I am not concerned about whether trees feel pain because its not yet proven hence nothing to refer to.

For your second question the answer is almighty Allah has created this world, trees and animals because of mankind.Hence Trees are useful for man for food, furniture, housing, fresh air...etc.

    Hope Ive answered your question
