anyways.... listen up... hopefully you will get to read this before you leave tomo morning.
DO NOT rush to the SCID tomorrow. Take you time and sort the following out. Since you have told them that you will be coming.. its acceptable for you to show up with whatever the working hours of theirs you can.. but you must go.
You can do this two ways...
1. You can lawyer up and expect to pay a pretty sum of money for the services.
2. OR .. use your brain than trying to be a total fuck up unlike today.
if you want to do it the way No 1... find a lawyer.. tell him the following.
I need to get my name off this case ASAP and I need reimbursement for the phone in way of another phone or money from the shop owner who have sold you the phone and let the lawyer handle it from thereon. Pay an advance amount of money and promise the rest on the completion of the case as and when you get what you want.
if you want to do it on the NO 2. method... this is what you have to do.. in particular order... I underlined it cause it has to be done in the particular order.. DO NOT mess it up or FUCK it up. (this is a very delicate psychological game you have to play..but play it right.. and you will be OK)
1. Goto the phone shop in the morning... SIT down with the owner...and tell him the following in a very calm but a very authoritative manner. DO NOT get pissed off regardless of what he says or loose your temper.
1.1 - Tell him what happened at the SCID and keep the details of SCID informing that they dont want the shop owner part out...
1.2 - Tell the shop owner that you have given all the details of his shop and his details to the SCID and they wanted BOTH of you to be present at at the SCID.
1.3 - Tell him of the details of the robbery as much as you have learnt and make sure he feel comfortable that he's not alone in this crisis and the people wanted in this regard are already in custody.
2. LEAVE for the SCID with the SHOP OWNER... not a representative or a worker... it MUST be the shop owner. Regardless of whatever he says to get away from it.. make absolute sure that he comes with you.
3. Remember that this guy (shop owner) is just as innocent as you. Hes a businessman doing a business and like everyone else, he wanted to maximize his profit margins as well. Hes not a con man or a criminal. Treat him as a friend whos in this problem with you... not your enemy.
4. Go and meet the same two SCID officials you have met today.. and heres a little trick of industry standard... when you sit down with the shop owner.. check whats the dominant hand of the Officer (if he write from LEFT hand or RIGHT hand) ... if hes a right handed guy SIT to the LEFT of him and pull your chair about a feet back from the shop owner.
what I said above is a sort of a psychological trick not many people know about... but trust me... do that ! .. people tend to always direct question towards the people sitting to their dominant hand and the one in front !............... I know it sound ridiculous.. but just trust me on this bro.
5. NOW ... the questioning will start. These two officers will start with you first. Answer everything that you did clearly and directly.. and whenever theres a question that involves both parties.. always ask the shop owner to answer for you.
heres an example
Q : From where did you buy this phone?
A : From the (shop name)
Q : when did you purchase this phone?
A : (look at the shop owner) "(name) you have the receipt right., let me see that (check the receipt) yeah.. on the 14th isnt it right machang?
DID you understand what I am asking you to do?? ... you have to slowly but intentionally turn the questioning towards the shop owner than you answering everything directly.
basically.. .GET HIM to answer questions for you. Just make sure that HIS name is mentioned in that statement than yours and get him to admit that he has told you about the stolen phone part which he told you over the phone.
6. Eventually the questioning will end with a long list of bullshit .. but eventually both of you will be asked to leave. But the phone will be taken as evidence and that it. You will NEVER EVER see that phone again. Loose all your hopes of ever getting that phone back.
Get a copy of the SCID statement you and your shop owner both gave.
7. They might or might not issue you a letter stating that they have taken your phone under custody. IF THEY DO issue a letter.. take it..
If they DON'T ...
Loose the shop owner at this point by telling him to wait outside for you or something and go meet the office who did the questioning earlier.
Tell him the following.
Tell him that you have purchased this phone and spent a 127k over it and its not a small amount of money to forget. So, you need a small letter saying that SCID have taken over the phone..so that you can get a new phone from the shop owner.
THIS IS A MUST that you have... if you have played your cards right as i said in No 5... by this time, he will be sympathetic to you in knowing that you are just a victim. Write a small note in a piece of paper then and there as I instructed you in my earlier post and get a signature and a seal from the officer.
The whole point of playing the phyco game in NO 5 is the reason you need for the No 7 ... because this is the most important piece of paper you can get out of this whole mess to cover your costs and ass.
8. Come out... have a friendly chat with the shop owner.. FUCK man.. may be go and have a cup of tea with him even... DONT talk anything about a replacement phone or anything. Just talk of how glad you are of getting out of this mess without landing either of you in jail.
9. GIVE IT A DAY !!! ... by next day (tuesday) midday ... go meet the shop owner again.
SIT down and tell him that you want a replacement phone ! BE FIRM but be Polite..
if he give.. you are sorted.
if he doesnt !
BRING THE WRATH OF GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF DOWN UPON the shop owner... you are free to use any and absolute full extent of the vocabulary of FUCK YOU's as much as you want and DEMAND a PHONE then and there...
seriously bro.. bring the roof down and punch the motherfucker if you want.... and fucking threaten him to shutdown his shop and sue the FUCK out of him unless he replaces your phone then and there.
make sure HE KNOWS that you have all the bills, the calls and most importantly the LETTER saying that SCID have taken over the phone as evidence of an ongoing investigation .. and that you will SUE his ass off and claim all lawyer fees and damages from him at the end of the day (YES... you actually can do that... if this issue comes to that..
