the srilankan army consists of sinhala buddhists of more than 99%.My father is in the top ranks of srilankan army so i know the figures.....dannathnam danaganna naked thambi malli.....
after buddhists then the majority are sinhala catholics...the muslims and tamils are in very negligible amounts in our army....they are not taken in to the army because 1)they cannot be trusted 2)they are not willing to join the army.....

The language used in that article clearly suggest that this is a work of an extremist. I normally don't believe in this kind of chain mails.

Don't know what that Sri Lankan flag doing there on the ground, but you cant build up a whole argument like this based on just one photo. Besides, those three photos are totally unrelated. One shows a group of LTTE supporters, other two shows two different cathedrals (not even the same place, you can see that by looking at the background). And they are of very poor quality.

Whats more, I can't find any reference to such an event held by rev. Albert Malcolm Ranjith in Italy (March 2009). If something like this really happened, then surely there must be other references to it somewhere , right ? Local news papers, media etc.. this is the first time I heard of this and googling didnt turn up anything either.

For all I can say, this whole thing is fabricated.

P.S : There are so many chainmail posts in EK, therefore I don't believe anything posted here anymore (even if it is true), I always try to find some external evidence before taking anything posted on EK seriously .

Yep that is right, editing photos with PS is child's play.. , besides low quality photos + the way how it is written, looks all made up to me.

As I said before, there are no other references to support your claim .. If something like this really happened, then surely someone else must have posted it somewhere else (i.e local media).
