the srilankan army consists of sinhala buddhists of more than 99%.My father is in the top ranks of srilankan army so i know the figures.....dannathnam danaganna naked thambi malli.....
after buddhists then the majority are sinhala catholics...the muslims and tamils are in very negligible amounts in our army....they are not taken in to the army because 1)they cannot be trusted 2)they are not willing to join the army.....

Readers, ovalprasad, PLEASE take some time to read this,

Like the other people said you havent given any valid reference sites.. Our country was cursed by a 30year civil war, as you all would know, it was caused by a rebel group of racist people, and that group turned out to be the world's most powerful terrorist group!!

and what this ovalprasad is trying to do is to create a RELIGIOUS WAR, based on what ??? some pictures that someone edited using a photo editor! Dear ovalprasad, your either ridiculously stupid or a psycho who wants to start a new war in our motherland...

its such a pity that the elakiri admins don't do anything about these posts, this is the 21st century and im sure that you ALL know that people can do wonders using photoeditors, can even create video clips ( I'm sure you all know about the channel 7 incident )..

and PLEASE take time and go through Chanaka Perera's link, you all will realise how easy it is to edit pictures and cause such issues! I SINCERELY hope that everyone will read this and chanaka perera's post and put an END to this stupid post now itself before this issue develops to become a religious war!


and i saw some posts above saying that our army consists 99% of buddhists etc... i cant believe that you are so ignorant to post such things! our army is called SRILANKAN ARMY , and NOT buddhist army/ catholic army nor is it called sinhala army!! They put all the differences aside and fought for our country and finally ended the 30 year old curse!! There are muslims, sinhalese, tamils - hindu, buddhist, christians n islamists in our forces!!

and my dear ovalprasad, my last question, do u think that if what u posted was TRUE, our forces wouldnt have known about it ? They also have access to these information and if it was true they would have obviously done something... they did not wait for u to post something on elakiri to go and capture KP... They dont need you to post things on elakiri or anywhere to take action against these things! If these are a threat they will do something... till then please dont post such things without knowing the consequences... These sort of posts would SERIOUSLY lead to a religious war... what i felt after seeing your thread was that your like a next gen prabha - only thing is your causing a religious war instead of racist.. Ok Ovalprasad. Lets see if u can face the truth. I will forward this post to the ministry of religion and to the church palace (archbishops house). so they can do some investigation about this. This matter should be seriously addressed because this is an issue about the most holiest catholic in sri lanka and so it will become an issue for all the catholics living in sri lanka.
Believe me Ovalprasad dude, if this post happen to be a fake one i will surely will take legal actions against you for distributing null and truthless info and also for insulting a person which all the catholics believe in as good.
