    Atheist ... bullshit !

just know and understand one thing..

you are alive because the rest of the people around you are infact practicing a religion or a philosophy.

Religion and philosophy both help the man kind to get over the urges of crime and let their animal side in check !

so without one... we are neither never nor ever will be anything different from animals

just be glad that people around you are religious ! even if your stupid ass is not

What you are saying is true....but the statement is good for living in wild..but without religion and law we can't run a society....assume that everyone on earth start to live without obeying anything...it will be a more worse place...and not all people are in a good intelligent level as you..example you feel killing someone is wrong but what if another don't feel so..so some must obey some rules or should be forced..be that religion or law..

Why do you believe that morality and ethics require a strictly religious foundation?

I didn't mean there has to be strict religious rules...religion should be meaningful and should be a guide to life(in a good way)...but laws should be strict...religion should be there to understand the values and respect others..anyway if we dont need a society these things don't apply...

I will just ask you one question.

Which came first, ethics morality and values or religion?

That would be the other question to "which came first, the egg or the steak?"

    anyways... moving on

in my opinion .. that would be religion !

Rather than a religion as per se'.. I would say the belief of a higher power than the human. Either higher or darker... I believe people started believing in a power other than what they could capture to their visual spectrum.

If you scrutinize the basic fundamentals of any religion., you will see that it's almost always based around "the perfect" being.

The all powerful, the mighty, the know all and best of all higher Human power than all the mortals strive to achieve ! isn't it?

it's the basic craving of any human the need to be better than him self or others in comparison....which gave the power and start to a stream called religion.

Through a religion, people dictates on "how" we should live.. "how" we should behave and "how" we should conduct our selves within a community.

So I would say ethics morality and values are all by products of religion !
