Magnite has a 3 year/100,000 kms manufacturer's warranty to begin with, that's plenty of time to get an idea about long term reliability ne.

The Dayz OTOH has 6000 km to begin with, no maintenance history, no way to verify if it has been in an accident/flood etc

Plus it looks butt ugly, no offense - like a shoebox on wheels

It's ugly i accept that, but magnite is a low quality indian shit it's the big brother of kwid built on same platform. I can list down 100 reasons but don't want to bother just go to awm and check the car. If you have never used a japan car yo won't notice any difference and i don't even want to talk about AMT vs CVT. Just know this, nissan Daize with 660cc engine is almost 1.5 times faster than magnite with 1000cc engine. When I'm buying a car im mostly interested in the money i spend on the car japan cars always has a higher market in sri lanka. And i want to use my car at least 5 years without any issues.

Issue with the Kwid was it's safety. Reliability wise I haven't seen widespread complaints about it

If you have never used a japan car yo won't notice any difference and i don't even want to talk about AMT vs CVT.

This is the major issue with the Magnite, the AMT is slow and janky compared to a CVT

Just know this, nissan Daize with 660cc engine is almost 1.5 times faster than magnite with 1000cc engine.

Magnite Accenta (non-Turbo AMT) 0-100 in 22 sec

When I'm buying a car im mostly interested in the money i spend on the car japan cars always has a higher market in sri lanka. And i want to use my car at least 5 years without any issues.

Like I said the Magnite is covered by the manufacturer for the first 3 years and there's no reason to believe there'll be issues after 5 years of service. It has been sold in India since 2020, no widespread issues reported so far

OTOH the Dayz has an undocumented service history + 6000 km of usage during which nobody knows how the vehicle was actually used + No manufacturer's warranty or recall support
