to all who are having the problem of not seeing sri lanka's map in the table i think problem maybe the version of your Nokia Maps application.
After I updated the app to v3.06 i tried to install country maps through Nokia Suite. but for some reason it kept showing connecting to maps resources but never connected.
Then i used the Maps app in the phone and tried to load the country maps using WIFI. it WORKED !
Sri lanka map is about 35Mb to download through wifi and needs about 75mb to install. In colombo it has most places marked but out side regions not so much. But its good to have it installed.
anyway I do not have a wifi router so had to use my laptop's wifi to share internet to my phone. If you want to know about how to setup and configure internet sharing to a nokia device without any additional software, u can find it in this step by step guide:
