Two digits number (10 to 99) can be written as (10x + y).

ex: 62 = 10x + y ; x = 6 ; y = 2

You add 6 + 2 which means x +y.

Then you subtract (6+2) from 62, that is 62 - 8 = 54.

In our case (10x + y) - (x + y) = 9x.

The answer is always a factor of 9.

So you remember the symbol of 54.

But you can see that 9, 18, 27, 36, 48, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99 all have the same symbol.

So whatever the number you get they show you the symbol of 9.

Easy as that....
