Asus sux when it comes to optical department IMO,Sasika@Elakiri said:Today I bought this Asus DVD writer (with light scribe), it was tagged for Rs.3650, bt Winsoft gave it for Rs.3600, You can find em cheaper in Barclays too. I'm lovin it, but it doesn't have that rock solid heart touching feeling when touched, what Asus had 2,3 yrs back.

Only ASUS CD-ROM drivers were great. I have a CD-ROM which is 5years old (+) and still works perfectly
P.S : It could read CDs even my Asus Combo drive couldn't read ( written using the same Combo)

They are alright as long as you have all the features you need. You get a lot for the money you pay, than those so called highend/enthusiast level mobos.Sasika@Elakiri said:dont buy those mboards with g31 or p31, they are like downgraded versions of their line.

I can't remember the model, but there was a CoolerMaster PSU at Mitech and it was Rs.22000 iirc. Didn't check the model, because I don't care about what I can't reachSasika@Elakiri said:ela, then i may buy it do you know the price ? , bro is it true that psu s above true 650w sells for like 15kand up here in sl?. a frnd told me.

Anusha said:Funny thing is people pay scary amount for the mobo, for example Striker Extreme or Rampage Formula, and then use only one VGA, not overclock the CPU (or only overclock slightly), not use RAID and use 2.1 crappy Creative speakers. You can get the same thing from a ~Rs.10000 mobo too.![]()

is there a huge difference when you get 43 Amps(for eg.) in Single rail other than 25A+18A ?Anusha said:25A + 18A![]()
