It beats 9600GT in some benchmarks, it loses at some.

Today I bought this Asus DVD writer (with light scribe), it was tagged for Rs.3650, bt Winsoft gave it for Rs.3600, You can find em cheaper in Barclays too. I'm lovin it, but it doesn't have that rock solid heart touching feeling when touched, what Asus had 2,3 yrs back.

The guide will not be updated as much as lately coz now it has stable components and prices . Also since geethq and I have Dial up lines we have 4k+ outstanding bills and my line is disconnected. But there will be a weekly update.

There are 22X writers with Lightscribe for that price.I'm not saying you can burn @ 22X.Nor you will not use lightscribe.SO just get a good quality writer which will read DVDs in speed and accurate.
