CI is outdated guys, although it was one of my favorite PHP framework .

Try Laravel, Symfony as mentioned above by Ayeshlive.

Personally I think Laravel is the future of PHP frameworks or at least the turning point.

Programming war. I have used CI, YII but nothing beats laravel in terms of functions. I love the eloquent models, facades. Still, I don't understand what CI models do. Lumen is a micro-framework by Laravel. You might wanna try that.

මමත් CI fan කෙනෙක්. CI හොඳයි පොඩි වැඩ කරගන්න. මොකද configuration, server requirnments වැඩිය ඕනේ නැති නිසා. ඒත් laravel, sympony වගේ එකක් use කරන්නම ඕනේ php developing කරනවා කියලා ගැම්මක් දැනෙන්නනම්.

Cannot agree with ur opinions machan. Don't try to tell "Wordpress is a shitty framework". Every thing has bugs, fixes, Performance Issues. If you try to give your opinions like this, just re-think about your self again.

The comments you placed on my invitation shows us that you are just a programmer. we don't expect such opinions about CI by giving a wrong idea about the technology to the people who see this. And its not only damaged to us, also its damaged the thousands of developers who contributed for the CI and Bootstrap. As a programmer you should first learn how to appreciate others work by giving them a credit.

If you try to say CI sucks because of its too old, and almost every appraisal you see is 2010 or older. . that is wrong. When its become too old its might gets too powerful and more reliable.. maybe it will replaced by another technology. yes of course there are other better framework like YII and few other in the lead than CI. but that doesn't mean CI is old and sucks.

These are just words to highlight your professionalism. but looking at your website and drupal profile you need some more to think about your self.

Everything has its own purpose...Anyway I too don't agree with the idea that CI is outdated..I see the project is still active, and they have very recent releases too. (https://github.com/bcit-ci/CodeIgniter/releases). For example, Version 3 was in April this year.

CI was not built / developed with the intention to beat Laravel, YII or Symfony frameworks, and I don't think they will ever want to do that. They built CI because they wanted some lightweight framework with a smaller footprint. That's why CI is a good choice if you want to build a medium size website.

No one asks you to use CI for your every project It's something you've to decide whether CI has the capacity to cater your requirements in the long run. I don't see any good reason to use Laravel to build a medium size website when CI can do that for you. Laravel has it's advantage when you work on large scale projects.

we are doing inhouse development. part time thamai oni, wht is ur university? and why did you remove mobile responsiveness from ur web?

aha..part time nam hodai.um reading for degree at sliit.
nop.they asked me to remove it.there are some rules and regulations from the ICTA we have to follow when we develop something for government.And they had some problems with the maintaining the site also.so finally i removed it.

Thanks for the comments/feedback place on this thread. we have found 2 guys listed for our work. Chamath from here and one other form Canadian Team.
We have seen others web portfolios too and those are really good designs specially rajika4never had some great designs. we have limited chances available and already filled out.
