Hey guys, Today I got a weird result when pinging to elakiri.com

Average = 1825ms! Is this normal? Not for me. I get ping time Average = 1825ms when pinging my server in Malaysia. Post your results too... These are the steps to ping. 1.) Start->Run 2.) Type cmd and press enter. You are now on command prompt. 3.)type

4.) Right click on the screen and click on "Mark" 5.) Select the whole page with your mouse and press enter. Now it's copied to your clipboard. 6.) Paste it here with your reply.

@VGSM: Your ping time looking suspicious. Your ping app is probably broken or you are inside the DC which hosts ElaKiri.
I haven't seen a ping result like yours in my whole life. Usually ping doesn't return the same result for every test.

ping measures the data transfer speed in milliseconds between two destinations on any network.It might be online ,intranet, extranet.
So higher ping means either you got a bad quality connection, ISP limited your connection,the distance from your location to destination location is much larger.Basically if you got a lower ping that's a good sign cause you are close to the destination,you got a higher quality connection relatively, speed is much faster (like 1Mbps compare with 512kbps or 6mbps compare with 1mbps).
