From what I have heard both of these models could not be recommended.

Civic FD3. Check the usage capacity of hybrid battery before buying.
Japan is the model manufactured for Japanese domestic market and Europe is manufactured for European region. There are some minor differences in the two such as the audo/navigation setup (Japanese one would likely have a Japanese setup), service manuals and other minor option differences maybe such as the maintenance reminders in dashboard.
