1. Try to burn it with another brand of CD or DVDs
2. Upgrade firmware of your CD/DVD Writer

Maybe something wrong with the disks!

"[Model Number] [Brand] Firmware"

Then download the firmware in .exe and upgrade!

If it is asus You Can Download the Firmware From asus Site i think...But Download the Exact Model Firmware

Try to minimize the CPU load while Burning process starts.( higher processor activities cause stress on PSU and out put of other connectors may deteriorate )

i think this is due to unsatable power supply to ur writer from the PSU. if u have an
Good efficient PSU. this is may be due to loose connecttion of power cable from PSU to Wrietr
