1) i am not saying its greedy to ask for elections.....SF HAD all the right to stand for presidency.....but isn't and wasn't it GREEDY of him...to go directly to presidential elections...without even earning some experince as a minister?....

2) and i am not just talking abt just the funeral....even after the operation....he could still have visited the family....talked to them on the phone at least...and expressed his condolences which is the VERY least he could have done...he merely ignored them and their suffering...and lived happily with his family......
the lazy and ungrateful will have many reasons....the grateful will pay their debts....
3) i am respecting a sri lankan...or did you forget this was a civil war...and karuna and pillian ARE sri lankans.....sri lankans who defected to the govt side...and helped put the foundations of the LTTE's demise....or did you forget the years we spent...going back and forth without any end in sight for the war...?
i though it WAS a Buddhists duty to forgive his enemies.....and move on....
once you defect....to a country....the country you defect to...is expected to uphold its deals you made with it.....be it USA and Iraqi generals....Israel and Lebanese generals....or Sri Lanka and LTTE generals....
keep your friends close...but your enemies closer.....and by having them in govt...Sri Lanka shows it is not the barbaric country the LTTE says Sri Lanka is in its propaganda....
