Banning or at least making an efffort to do is a good thing... but there are soo many pros and cns in this matter.... the thing is they say that if anyone want to get access to those sites... the internet provider will issue a license... isn't tihs already was with us by applying parental filters and so on...
and the other thing will be like the dealers of porn in sl will get acces to the sites with wat eva they have to doo.. and they will get the license... and will write them down to cds and will distribute them... it was seems to be the most popular method among school children according to an article once in a paper...
soo the major method will still prevail without no harm....
soo it seems like a bit unpraticable to mee..
good tyhing would bee to educate parents via schools... like holding seminars and soo on..
because in my point of view it seems more practicable and will cure some more major problems too...(like game addicts!!)
at least first the gov should have done somethng like cheking wether the internet cafes have that parental filters and all.. because there's noo need to a public place like an internet cafe to have access to porn sites no.... instead of implimenting such a thing at once...

anyway... a blade (the 3.50 one) usually gets two sharp edges..

And i also agree that by this regulation, a whole lot of sites including valuable content, will be banned......that's something most of us wont tolerate...and yes...it could be viewed as limiting public entertainment......
Once i was in a Cafe...checking my mails, and in comes three little shool boys and the owner of the Cafe goes yelling " no school boys allowed, you must leave."....... And i got to think..if everybody was acting responsibly like this, how good it would it be........?
That was months ago...........
If the government encouraged the Cafe owners not to let School children to visit Cafes and access the web from the start, then this day wouldn't have come........
But here we are at the point we started from.......
we cant oppose to this matter becoz they will view us as PORN ADDICTS....he...he... Though we are not addicted we have to agree that even sometimes we have a little fun too ( TO BE HONEST )..... and we all agree that there's an age limit for everything.....
Government should consider this.....
Adult entertainment must be only for adults....... Not for children.........
Government must make sure that all children act their age, while adults act their age.........
The perspective they are looking from, is not effective and yields bad results........

My openion is this is not a good solution for this problem. This is just another "business" of the Government like "Drive Green".

Those are "indirect taxes" for the government.

Problem is how they devide those into "good" or "bad" sites............according to which parameters......

In my opinion any form of censorship in a democratic country is bad.. its not a matter of loosing porn, people who want to watch porn will get it no matter how.

in my school computers, they use a fuckin proxy. i cant even access yahoo mails with it. i think datz d best solution although i hav no idea bout settin up a proxy. in some antivirus programs, i've seen PARENTAL GUARD component. it's in BitDefender n KIS, i've seen it. use it if u cant really control yourself. basically people who watch porn r low-class pieces of shit. so dont watch it u'll b mental in days.
