:rolleyes:

:eek:

    :yes:

    Like hrm said, its complicated systems are expensive to repair when they fail, and those systems (mostly electronics) almost always give one trouble or other as they age. Unlike Jap cars these cars don't have agent support outside colombo. Technicians with experience with maintaining euros are not easily found outside colombo too. Spare parts are expensive... etc etc... :yes:

    So it takes an enthusiast with deep pockets to take proper care of a car like this :yes:

    Thanks bro!

    Is this applicable to Audi, BMW and Benz as well?

    Not as bad as Peugeot..hence the better 2nd hand market prices :P

    I think Toyota and Honda has a very long way to go if you compare the finishing of BMW, Benz, Audi and Peugeot cars.

    It's not that hard buy them now. But if maintaining an European car is so expensive and hard we will have to stick with Japanese cars til we come to that stage of life...:sorry::(:oo:

    hmm..you think the richest automaker in the world wouldn't be able match European automakers even if they wanted to?
    I think they just cater to two different market niches and it's mostly due to how they started off building their brands.

    Toyota is a volume driven company - and they do have high-end models like Lexus.
