It`s not a major issue machan. Let it warm up before revving hard, do regular oil changes and it`ll be fine. There are 2018 CRV`s with over 200k kms here, running perfectly fine. Still a much much better car than things with little 1.0 engines and stupid wet timing belts.

Given the pathetic Tax scheme, masses end up getting cars with puny little engines. even the Mercs (Ex: C200) in here with 1.5 Liter Engines.

Yep and the manufacturers themselves are downsizing engines due to strict emission rules.
