Question:Mobile phone as a WiFi Transmitter??

Hey all...

I was just wondering if you have a mobile phone with Wifi
can you share your internet with your phone?

here is my scenario,
I have a 5800
I Have a Desktop PC
I have a laptop (with Wifi)

My question is can you use your phone as a WIFI transmitter to share your internet from the desktop PC to your Laptop??

Come on tech lover's is there a solution???

I'm pretty sure this is not possible. However some phones(android 2.2 froyo ones-nexus one,htc desire) let you use them as wireless hotspots using mobile internet connection.

Why don't you just buy a wireless router?
