I talk about only the isolated few who are being accused
and if the accusations are true
I don't call them soldiers.
I can't remember when,
but Time or Newsweek
rated Sri Lankan Army as the worlds most indisciplined.
I don't know how true it is
but we read many news about crimes
about soldiers committed here.
Rapes also in the last 30 years.
But using it as a weapon
is unthinkable.
I don't know what to say.
So better we know
whether it is true.
Should we forget it because others won the war.
Then what difference between the Army and Terrorists.
A proper army is a creative force
and terrorists are destructive.
Army is a unit,
with it's own conduct
Terrorists are just a mob
following a common code but no ethics.
The forces have their own law and ethics
and they are more important than ours
because they are armed.
If they commit a crime with licenced weopans
they become the worst terrorists of all.
Like a monk killing a man.
He is supposed to protect the civilians.
Even a surrendered terrorist
is under his protection.
If a soldier rapes
a civilian
or a surrendered terrorist
whom is under his protection
it is like a father raping his own sister
or a btother raping his own sister..
or it can be even worse.
Unless we think like inhumans
we can't forgive if a soldier rapes a civilian
or a surrendered terrorist.
