My daughter goes to Musaeus College and I am concerned about what I heard recently... not only about 3 students committing suicide without teachers or senior students not even suspecting something wrong, but also at the way the whole incident was handled - the lack of proper first-aid provided (some say the student who hung herself might have survived if propoer first aid was provided) and to the way the school has rejected any responsibility since then.
I am seriously thinking of taking my daughter out of the school. Am I just over-reacting? I would like to know your opinion.

I guess the school has something to do with it. They should highly monitor their so called PREFECTS before they would go and find faults in ordinary children

the school cannot be held responsible.. The parents are the ones that should be blamed.. the child only spends 6-7 hours at school.. and the schools are understaffed.. THe parents should be aware of their child's mental health.. and there aint no first aid for hanging..
true... parents r da ones that shd be blamed... if u show da correct path frm da beginning da child wont go astray! thrs nthin to do with da schl.. these sort of things cn happen inside any shcl.. n hv alrdy hpnd in da past.. and yes u R over reactingSis, create a home environment where your daughter can come home and tell you anything without the fear of being judged, ridiculed, blamed, punished and led to feel guilty and inferior. We can't change the whole world; one school may not be much different from another. But let your child know that you'll be by her side, whether she's right or wrong.
