My Opinion!

My language fluency in Sinhala is not perfect. So with my knowledge of Sinhala this is my opinion!

According to Buddhism no where is stated that there is no god! Does that mean there is no god? Not at all! Then here comes a problem! According to Buddhism we cannot explain anything about god! So we have to go for other alternatives!

Did Lord Buddha deny about god? I don’t think so as Lord Buddha said that “our main focus is to remove the sufferings on earth”. Now how far does that work in today’s world and there are after Lord Buddha other great people like Jesus, and Muhammad (PBUT) came to bring God’s message! We see change today!

In one question I saw “what do you think about the concept of god according to Islam?” But what was the answer? Buddhism denies it! That’s all? Is that the answer? What else? I find my freedom, you find your freedom! What that statement has to with the question mentioned?

In one answer I see the monk stated “some authors according to their knowledge makes assumptions and develop concepts and theories is like people are walking in the dark side” it can be applied to scientific theories and concepts too as these theories are developed base on numbers and assumptions which are classified as classical theories! In this case which is the divine?

Is this misrepresentation!

True? Any evidence?

I have seen the person who questions is having limited knowledge about religious views!

About gods in Buddhism! That is only a misconception! And so reading this I see people had many misconceptions about Buddhism! So this thread is to clarify that?

Finally one thing in every statement I see here is “Buddhism denies it” and denies!

This is what I have to say for looking into other religion too! But how the people are judging?

The first thing which needs to be removed from the dictionary is “ignorance” But where?

Can I ask you a question? There is GOD or there is NO GOD, how do we know for sure?

Buddhism does states about GOD but those are even below human according to Buddhism that they need Human blessings to survive.. this is what Buddhism says! But this cannot be proven, THAT'S THE TRUTH!

May I ask what other alternatives you are talking about that would explain GOD that is higher than an explanation of a mere mortal? How do we believe your alternative in the first place?

The GODS, After Life... This PART of Buddhism is really has no effect or barrier for TRUE BUDDHIST to live their lives according to Buddhism! Because Buddhism clearly defines and draws a line between after-life and current life and many other things.. whether you like it or not you only can go as far as what you can do in your current life! IS IT NOT?

So this is why LORD BUDDHA has requested to focus on things which mortals can do, and it is also the reason that Buddhism is flexible enough and practical!

So the MAIN question remains in every religion HOW DO YOU PROVE GOD?

The difference in Buddhism is that it doesn't rely on GOD, so Buddhism is based on a more solid foundation than other religions!

Very SIMPLE!!! Buddhism does not have special rules for Buddhists or non-Buddhists, Buddhism only has ONE RULE for everybody... TAKE OWNERSHIP of what you do... because your MIND is the key to your actions!

If you need guidence doing that.. Dhamma is there for you.. if you like you can follow.. END OF THE STORY!!

Does it really matter? if A GOD is true whom can effect people's action and is higher than human.. then science become false!

I think you believe in Science by default, so its time for you to think about the GOD!!
