    sure thing. I just looked up to see which C books are recommended for beginners.

    If you have had some exposure to programming before, this book is said to be very good. It teaches C from the beginning. But it may assume u know the very basics of programming. Most people seem to recommend it. (found out by googling)

    by: Brian W. Kernighan, Dennis M. Ritchie
