SAP is 'one' of the most used ERPs in the world, u cant say SAP is the best ERP because it all depends on the companys requirement, business process and investment capacity.IFS, MS Dynamics NAV, AX, SAGE, Infor, JD Edwards, Epico, Sytline all these are erps. SAP is mostly used be manufacturing organizations eg; MAS
IFS is the worlds leading and most innovative ERP which is used by most of the fortune 500 companies and high tech firms eg: Military, oil companies, Drone technologies, Artificial intelligence etc.
If you are looking for a SAP job u need to start from very basics like Quickbooks, Peachtree, Myob wich will give you the understanding of AP AR GL IC PO OE and the whole financial system, then move to advanced erp processes like production, supply chain, logistics, AI etc..
Best place to work as a SAP consultant in SL is Attune. otherwise Zillione or IFS who does other ERPs.
