Satellite system from Japan…

The Japanese government today donated to Sri Lanka a 650-million rupee worth satellite system, which allows the meteorology department to automatically gather data from the 38 weather stations across the country. Disaster Management Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe is seen inspecting the equipment with Japanese Ambassador Kuniyo Takashi
