SE k750 data cable problem

I have problem with data cable in k750.

When I connect to computer, the connection is intermittent.
Computer detects phone, then no connection, again detects, then again no connection and so on.
Sometime no connection at all.

If I move cable connection jack to phone, problem is solved. But then again sometimes connection is lost.

I tried with another cable. Initially worked ok, but now same problem.

Then lately when I fix charger, sometimes phone does not start to charge. Shaking the connection to phone solves the problem.

What can I do about this problem.

If I spray contact cleaner to phone socket and cable, wade dell wai da ?

Any suggestions please?

Don't spray whatever the cleaning liquid directly on to the phone, spray it on to a cloth first and use that to rub the contacts, Brazo can be used as well.

I also had a K750 few years back, and experienced some connection problems towards the end. But that was not due to the contacts getting dirty, I think the latching mechanism was worn off therefore the cable didn't stay secured to the phone socket.

K750 charging block can b replaced easily, if u can take it down to a repair shop. quiet old phone model

i have the same problem, i think its common among 750s.
bit of saliva do the trick

i lost my charger and cable is my only hope. and i'm addicted to reminder so i have to do it.

yes i know we need to move on, there are so many new SE models out there.
but i love my good old buddy.
