Agreed! Plus there are a lot of IT managers who doesn't have a clue about how the industry behaves. In most of the cases I have seen IT managers (In most generic companies) have a pretty normal salary with less level of stress. In the other case SysEngineers have a case to grow.management and engineering is two different things bro...IT manager can be a person with lesser technical skills but
SSE is not like that . SSE most of the time works under the manager.. so managers salary might be higher but its all depends on the company
