mmm..
if you are talented, you will select a talented institute too.
People from private universities should realize that they need to really put some work in because the government uni people who actually are talented are bound to be pretty damn good. If you want to compete with them you will have to put some honest effort in.

You got post graduate qualification ???
wow !!!

On average,
People from Government universities can work harder and are more intelligent than people coming from private universities.
I repeat that I said on average.
This is just a cold hard fact. You should be able to accept this even if you go/went to a private university. The entry barriers to a government university are way higher than that of a private university.
This is not to say that there won't be talented people in private universities, or that all people from government universities will be shooting stars.
(Also, if you want to rank your government university higher than a private university, please be considerate enough to use the same criteria to rank between government universities as well. Specifically, the Z-score people obtained at A Levels.)
But, coming back to the topic, four years is a pretty long time. I think it should be obvious that how much you eventually earn will depend much more on how you spent these four years than on how much you scored for Chemistry, Physics and Maths. A Level marks are not worth shit when you finally go into the industry.
People from government universities need to wake up from their dreamworld and work to fulfill their true potential and not waste time dissing other people's degrees just to feel superior.
People from private universities should realize that they need to really put some work in because the government uni people who actually are talented are bound to be pretty damn good. If you want to compete with them you will have to put some honest effort in.

Indeed Sir, I'm fully accepting your point. On average,

) in most of the cases Maths (that is very hard) and getting highest score and going to uni can be done by only the brightest students. Imagine only 4% of students goes to university, so cream of the cream goes to government universitiesFor UoM CSE graduates, the salaries are
Virtusa - Arround 1 Lak
MIT, CodeGen, DirectFN, - Around 80
They are paid the most in the industry and they are the most reputed, also they have the talent too therefore you may find lot of UoM CSE people at higher positions in lot of IT companies.
As a comparison wise UoM CSE > UCSE > Pera CSE > others..!!
Also IIT is becoming a good one too...most of them are very talented plus they have lot of extra curricular things and English too...

Indeed Sir, I'm fully accepting your point.
Passing A/L (the hardest exam in the world) in most of the cases Maths (that is very hard) and getting highest score and going to uni can be done by only the brightest students. Imagine only 4% of students goes to university, so cream of the cream goes to government universities
In this case, anyone with 3 S passes can go to a private or government affiliated private university and get an IT or Business Mgmt degree if they have money. If they put some effort they can easily pass that degree. I myself was one of them. If I had a chance, If I had worked hard and got higher A/L results, I would've definitely gone to a government university.
IT graduate supply in Sri Lanka is rising up each and every year. These private universities are mass producing IT graduates like never before. Even now the supply is more than the demand. Finding a job is getting harder and harder. People will settle for any salary.
This is the bitter truth of IT graduates in SL

It's because they just do IT for the sake of doing it.. Most of them even don't like IT, They just need a qualification. So they do various things to overcome assignments and projects... so the final output is not as expected.
The few who have some dedication and curiosity for work and learn will definitely get a better place. maybe not in their first job, but sooner.
