Single phase to 3phase electricity

Hi Guys,

My home currently has single-phase electricity and since I consume more than 400 units per month it make sense to switch to 3 phase current which costs 22Rs per unit (22X400 =8800 normal 13423.50).
What I want to know is the changes involved in such conversion and what is the cost of each change?

Appreciate it if anyone can assist with this.

I don't think that they will issue you a separate bill.
Cus, they calculate the bill based on your total units of the 3 Electricity meters.

If not you may need to register the place as a Business venue. But, it will cost you more!

3 phace won't change your number of units that you consume and you will still be in the domastic tariff so the charges will be the same. And you will have to change your house wiring also

True but the 3phase have a flat rate and single-phase doest. Therefore 3phase is cheaper when you consume a high number of units.

Are you sure that tarrieff change to a flat rate? It change to flat rate when you take the connection for commercial purpous isn't it?

Maybe you are right. I am not sure about that. I need to ask someone who is working in Leco it seems. Thanks
