How are you all? I just wanted to know a bit a about our sinhala caste system, I've never come across this, until my best friend mentioned it. Though I was born in France, I have always been proud to call myself Sri Lankan, a Sinhalese, but this topic has now got me curious. Apparently, you can tell your caste from your surname. So my friends, I just want to ask which caste I would be classified as? My surname is Karowgodage Don... (its also spelt as Kerowgodage, Kerewgodage, or Karawgodage).... and my mother's maiden name is Ranasinghage Fernando...
