so u must b having a 2MB line and im using wimax 1MB and i get download speed of between 130 to 140 kbps

if u have 1MB line u should get 1024 kbps

well im not a expert but still i get a download speed by dividing connection speed (which is given by ISP and it is in kilobits ) by 8 .
bcuz file sizes are in kilobytes and not in kilobits

Yeah, its a 2MB connection which should get me 256KBPS but only getting 55KBPS. Lucky you, at least WiMax is working .

Yeah, its a 2MB connection which should get me 256KBPS but only getting 55KBPS. Lucky you, at least WiMax is working .

oh u r getting 55KB/s means, they have changed ur account to the slower link pool..

that means u exceeded monthly bandwidth limit
