work load all depends on the projects, there are some projects u can come on 11 am and go on 6 pm, but there are some u should come 9 am and work until 11 pm,

but that happens when releases are going to happen or after the releases.

it can be stressful, all depends on your commitment, but after being 1-2 yrs in virtusa u wll get good recognition in industry.

choice is yours, do more research about industry and make decision.

I haven't worked in virtusa, but I have 7-8 firends working as QA in virtusa.
1) Nothing bad about the work environment, its good
2) flexible working hours most of the time, but within a time frame
3) will have to work till night sometimes, but you will also get lazy days. I had a QA girl in virtusa who used to be online in hangouts (they block fb) all the time because there was little work to be done. I think the workload depends on the project, if you are a QA.
4) unless you are hired specifically as a QA Automation engineer, chances are youll be doing manual QA for a reasonable time.
5) Please check the salary. From what I know increments are hard to come by for the average person at virtusa, so what you demand at the beginning willl be what you get, at least for some time. make sure you get an accepptable salary, otherwise don't go. Working without a good pay is a big stress. Just because virtusa doesnt give you a good salary doesnt mean other people wont do it.
I was selected by virtusa as ASE about 2 years back, they offered me 40,000 and wouldnt change it, I said no, and found a role as SE with 65,000 salary in 2 weeks.

6) Salary levels can be vastly different from one person to another, even if you have the same experience. They have a very complex evaluation and your interviewers recommendations will also matter a lot. I had two batch mates, both went as q.a, one got 140,000 and other guy got 35,000.

But....

if youre ready to commit yourself without thinking about time and money, work there for an year or two, and you will be accepted anywhere in the world for great salaries!

You might not get to work on automation in Virtusa.

Best place to start and learn QA and process. There are so many opportunities to grow up the knowledge. Don't think about salary. Think about experience. Good working culture still there in some project. If you lucky enough, you will be selected to that kind of project.

Not true to my experience. Never been to work at 8. So I dont know about working at 8. Did you work in security or something? They are the only people know if someone works at 8.
