Sri Lanka bows down to India..

I prefer the TV .... TV brings a lot from unknown for twenty four hours and Toilet I need only once or twice in a day... I would continue to use the same replcement I had for a toilet so far and watch TV with 100 channels...

dear reshmi, i've been to india....... be honest to yourself. sri lanka is far more clean and tidy than india. there is nothing to argue it......... accept it. all the guys who have travelled to both sri lanka and india know what country stands first on human life, clense, sanitory fascilities and natural beauty.

As a whole yes.... Have you lived in their houses... I have been staying in many different houses.. The Middle class houses, that I have seen are much cleaner and tidier than I have seen here...One reason for it, are the stones they use for floor. They mop the floor everyday, some even twice.. Here some houses wash the house once or twice an year, polish it and sweep everyday since then... but I have not seen moping.... And religion wise also they have lot of rites related to cleanliness.. More religious people live cleanest lives.

India deserves that respect... We have received our Dynasty from India..and Two major religions... It will be very good for travelers between two countries... There was a talk about a bridge between two countries... if that happens, nothing like that.. It's really good news..

Yes. We should respect India because it's another country. So we should respect it the same way we respect others. Nothing more, nothing less. But Sorry Atula, you got it wrong mate... We have NOT got our Dynasty from India. We have NOT got our religions from India either. Buddha was born in Tibet, Muhammad in Middle East, Jesus in Bethlahem (again mid east). Our Ancestors comprise of Yaksha, Nagha, Rakus and Asura tribes. Their ancestors are Mayans and other pre historical tribes. And their ancestors are the homo sapience sapiense! And the heritage was born in Mohen Jedaro - Harappa, yupratese-Tygrese areas. Indian heritage was born from the Nile area. That's why we have some sort of a similarity. Yes in fact there was Adam's bridge or the Ravana's bridge joining Mannar and India those days and the satellite imagery shows the proof as well. That's how the cultures got mixed. What Wijaya came and did was exterminating the tribes so that he could populate Sri Lanka with his Indian population. But Yaksha, Nagha tribes fought hard. So if somebody worships the Mahawamsa and King Wijaya, it's the same as 'loving Prabhakara' who tried to exterminate other communities in order to populate his own.

I prefer to keep my friends from different nationalities seperate... Otherwise I will lose some from both sides... You can imagine what may happen if my indian friends see the attitudes my Sri Lankan friends have about India.... They too are prejudiced about their country... I like both for different reasons... I like Sri Lanka as a beautiful, comfortable, clean country.. I like Indian people more as friends... I prefer a partner from Sri Lanka.. Sound complicated but exact truth from heart..

India is a very cunning country, they need more places for their over crowded people to settle. Making a bridge will not for commercial purpose its only for free flow to Indians.
They will come here, marry to Sri Lankans earn lands…
This is a really a bad project and should not let happen. We have suffer much more due to Indians activities, don’t forget the past.
