We have NOT got our Dynasty from India. We have NOT got our religions from India either. Buddha was born in Tibet, Muhammad in Middle East, Jesus in Bethlahem (again mid east). Our Ancestors comprise of Yaksha, Nagha, Rakus and Asura tribes. Their ancestors are Mayans and other pre historical tribes. And their ancestors are the homo sapience sapiense! And the heritage was born in Mohen Jedaro - Harappa, yupratese-Tygrese areas. Indian heritage was born from the Nile area. That's why we have some sort of a similarity. Yes in fact there was Adam's bridge or the Ravana's bridge joining Mannar and India those days and the satellite imagery shows the proof as well. That's how the cultures got mixed. What Wijaya came and did was exterminating the tribes so that he could populate Sri Lanka with his Indian population. But Yaksha, Nagha tribes fought hard. So if somebody worships the Mahawamsa and King Wijaya, it's the same as 'loving Prabhakara' who tried to exterminate other communities in order to populate his own.
