ENGINEERS
- An Engineering degree (from any university) with specialization in the fields of Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Electrical & Information Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering which is recognized by the IESL or any other qualification equivalent to a full academic qualification of the IESL which is accepted and required to become an Associate Member of the IESL.
OR - Successful completion of Part I and II examinations of Engineering Council (UK), (after 16th October 2002) in the fields of Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, including the submission of a Project Report.
OR - Successful completion of Postgraduate Diploma in the field of Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, jointly awarded by Engineering Council (UK) and City & Guilds.
OR - Successful completion of Part I and II examinations of the old syllabus or Part I, Part II, Part III of the new syllabus in the fields of Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering from Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL).
- Upper age limit is 30 years.
CIVIL ENGINEERS
- An Engineering degree from any university recognized by IESL in the fields of Civil Engineering.
OR - Associate Member of the IESL specializing in Civil Engineering or any other qualification in Civil Engineering accepted by IESL to award Associate Membership.
