Sri Lankan data security

Many countries like China have taken serious consideration on their country's data. However, I heard that Sri Lanka is using software developed by other countries (and given free of charge) for monitoring. (eg: m....... I eraced the example) many people believe that this is a threat to Sri Lankan data security.

people have no sense about their privacy. you just put a note and say "fil your info and put into the box to stand a chance to win an iPhone", people will write all of their information.

Dude, this is public sector. If there is a threat, then you should let us know it too because it effect all of us. Don't hide it.

There are standards in Sri Lanka... But you guys are not following them...

All you can see is the weak encryption issue..
