Sri Lankan TAX laws

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of starting a business and I want to learn about the tax laws in my country. Since I am an IT guy, I am not really good with law related stuff. Plus since I am starting out, I can spend too much money on lawyers for now.

Could any of you guys please tell me how I can learn about the current TAX laws that governs,
a) Civilians.
b) Companies.

What kind of business you are going to start? tax will differ depending on your business.
