If I ever get married and have children meaning I have a stable income, I will never introduce my children to Free Education or any other schools. They will be home schooled.

That is where good parenting comes into play. Being a good parent doesn't mean only providing foods, clothes, education to a child.. You also need to teach them about the society they are in, people around them, good manners, how to make their future bright, health... etc..

That is where good parenting comes into play. Being a good parent doesn't mean only providing foods, clothes, education to a child.. You also need to teach them about the society they are in, people around them, good manners, how to make their future bright, health... etc..

It doesn’t work that way.No amount of teaching makes a person face the situation

No it makes a weirdo.There will be no drive in him to go to those events.We go to school because its a must.The most probable cause will be he will stay at home lazy

Do you remember the history lessons you learned when you was a kid?

Language, maths and science would be enough, imo

again, why do you think a parent can teach subjects like math, science, agriculture, religion, languages etc? school helps you learn how to act within a group, socialize, develop a personality. Is the child going to live at home after finishing education? No.

I had plent of bad experiences at school. I also had plenty of good experiences.

And you will end up making an adult with no personality and who doesn't know how to face the society. The experience your child gets by interacting with children from different social classes and family backgrounds is invaluable when they become adults.

Scl ain't the only place where a child can engage with other children. Most kids go to gov scls end up being verbally and physically abused by teachers. Most the time they become manipulative as a coping mechanism or/and end up with life long trauma and personality issues. End result is either a toxic prick or a mentally ill person.

I saw homeschooling kids during covid. It was a disaster.

I don’t think schools are the only place responsible for shaping good or bad behavior. Take ragging, for example — it’s a disturbing practice where some students abuse others under the excuse of tradition or bonding. That’s not normal behavior; it reflects deep-rooted issues in mindset, not education alone.

Parents play a huge role in teaching empathy, values, and self-awareness. Just sending a child to school isn’t enough. And let’s be honest — financial stability often determines what kind of education or opportunities a person can access. That makes a big difference, too.

Basically, they make pricks.I am learning the things hard way by myself so I don't see any good they did other than leaving unforgettable bad memories, scars in my mind. Well, Sunday school is more than enough to develop a personality cuz you get to meet all the people you would meet in school.

you will never know when you will meet pricks.home schooling doesn’t guarantee you will meet good ones only later in life.
