financial stability often determines what kind of education or opportunities a person can access. That makes a big difference, too.

The fact is that the all people tryna criticize home schooling and private schools would never leave their child in a gov school if they were financially stable enough. There are good teachers, ofc but the majority is mentally ill, toxic and should not be allowed to handle children.

btw I also prefer home schooling rather than stupid government schools.
I think private schools will be a good middle ground

Society ain't some clearly defined thing. It depends on the environment. To survive in a society where the majority is low caste, a child should have the ability to recognize certain patterns humans exhibit and reciprocate accordingly. Thease kinds of environments often have dark characteristics (Dark Triad). So what the kid probably ends up learning is how to manipulate people to get his needs met and tbh, it's the proper adaptation for survival in that kind of setting. Else, the kid gets bullied, is left unnoticed and left uncared for.. and ends up with personality issues, life long trauma and mental illnesses. Children have high neural plasticity, so the things they learn during this time forms fixed neural connections and those eventually turn into fixed personality traits.

The true skill here is cognitive and emotional ability to recognize certain patterns and adapting to interact with a environment accordingly. The survival part should not be present in a *healthy environment*, imo. It should be parents responsibility to provide a healthy environment to the child while he is still maturing mentally.

And a child who is raised in a healthy environment will have a healthy personality and with a bit of knowledge and conscious effort he will adapt to survive in a type of environment that I mentioned earlier. It won't mess up his core personality or mental health.

I think private schools will be a good middle ground

A lot of bullying is happening in private schools as well. Teachers are better compared to gov ones tho. And no fucking unnecessary disciplinary bs.

By facing society, you meant "Pull down your pants and let someone sticking a bar inside the butthole or teach non-smoker to smoke properly or eat mud to learn equality" ?? What kind of sick fucks are those people ?? If someone learns to learn by the time that person reaches 16, degree means nothing to that person.

I am still holding my ground... Sunday school is enough to have interactions with people. You will meet to be every kind of person in there.. there is plenty more institutions a person can learn about the Sri Lankan society besides school.
